LE Field Trip to New Jersey State Museum

Hello Lower Elementary Families,

We are happy to announce our LE Field Trip will be to the New Jersey State Museum on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:15AM-2:15PM. Students will get to study a variety of topics that are discussed within our cultural class subjects. Students will get to become junior paleontologists for the day by attending the Junior Paleontologist workshop to study dinosaurs and fossils. Students will get to watch space unfold through a Planetarium showing of Magic Tree House: Space Mission. Students will also get to study artifacts around the museum. The price per student is $11.00. Payment can be made via MyFoodDays under Field Trips listed as the LE Field Trip under the date of the event April 11th 2025. If you have more than one child in Lower Elementary, please be sure to add them to your payment as well. All parents must sign the following permission slip(s) in order for your child(ren) to attend the field trip which is located at the following link: https://forms.gle/pe2rnW42VqxtRGfD9 If you have multiple children attending, please fill out the permission slip for each child.

Both payment and permission slips must be returned by Tuesday, March 25th 2025.

Chaperones will be chosen by a first come, first serve basis by classroom teachers for each classroom. Please email your child's teacher if you would like to attend this event. Chaperones must have clearances on file with the school. Chaperones will not need to pay an additional fee to attend. Your child's teacher will inform you if you have been chosen for this event.
